Child, Adolescent & Family Services

Dr Sally Carter over 15 years experience working with children, adolescents, families and parents to address a range of mental health challenges. She strives to create a supportive, welcoming space where all family members can feel heard and understood. She believes that strengthening understanding, connection and interactions between family members is fundamental to addressing mental health.

Sally works collaboratively with you to develop a shared understanding of your unique concerns, strengths, and goals. Sally will draw on her expertise in a variety of evidence-based, best-practice therapies to provide practical and individualised care that addresses the concerns experienced by you and your family.

If desired, and with your consent, Sally will work collaboratively with medical, allied health and education staff to ensure coordinated and efficient care for you and your child. School consultations are available if required.

Sessions may be child-only, parent and child, parent-only and/or whole family depending on the unique goals, needs and therapeutic approaches agreed on.
